The Minister of State for Labour and Employment and the Spokesperson for the APC presidential campaign council, Festus Keyamo, has claimed that the opposition parties lost the just concluded presidential election because they lack unity among themselves.
While speaking, Festus Keyamo noted that in order to kick out the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in 2015, different political parties merged to form the APC and eventually won the election. He went on and made it known that for PDP to kick APC out of power, it fragmented into Labour Party, NNPP and PDP.
Mr Keyamo made this disclosure in a tweet he made on his verified twitter handle, stating it clearly that if Nigerians remove emotions for a moment, it's not difficult to see the reason why the opposition parties lost the just concluded presidential election.
Since the result of the Presidential election was announced by the INEC, members of the APC have continued to defend the victory of the APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, but on the contrary, millions of Nigerians are claiming that the election was rigged in favour of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC. The two major opposition candidates have vowed to challenge the election in court.
