The director of Imo State Covid-19 taskforce, Prof. Maurice Iwu has cautioned some security operators in the state purportedly gathering cash from residents who abuse Covid-19 orders, to cease from such or be charged for criminal act.
Iwu said that the taskforce had in a matter of seconds provided such request, engaging that such action be halted forthwith.
"It has gone to our notification that specific people, gatherings and promotes have been going round the state coercing cash from residents of the state in the appearance that they are individuals from Imo Covid-19 taskforce.
