I've Not At Any Standard Benefitted From Asiwaju Tinubu Politically At Any Point In My Life-Fayose

In a recent exclusive interview with the journalists of TVC news, Nigerian politician and the former Governor of Ekiti State, Peter Ayodele Fayose was asked to give his concise opinion about the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu's personality.

Ayo Fayose reportedly said, and quote: "I am not going to come and talk about Asiwaju. Nigerians have made him their president-elect. It was a long drawn struggle, if there is anybody so abused, so insulted, it would that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and I have not hidden my respect for him as a Yoruba, from a Yoruba extraction whose is a leading light & that has helped a lot of people."

"And I want to say it here and I stand to be corrected, I have not at any standard benefitted from Asiwaju politically at any point in my life. I have never by any standard till today, when I helped ACN to install Governor Kayode Fayemi in Ekiti, they promised to support me for the Senate. Ojudu came and said, 'he was going to appeal despite the fact that Asiwaju said he should not.'"
