I Will Fight To Ensure Tinubu Becomes President- Zaura.

A governorship aspirant in Kano State under the platform of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, Alhaji Abdulsalam Abdulkadir, A A Zaura, has said that if eventually, power shifts to the south, National Leader of the party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is the most desirable person to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.

A A Zaura, who was speaking to Newsmen in Kano, was responding to questions that he was allegedly being sponsored by Tinubu to contest the state guber poll. 

Ngige Speaks About Elites.

Chris Ngige, the Minister of Labour and Employment, has lamented that he and other Nigerian elites are in danger. Ngige said this is due to the level of insecurity in the country.

Ngige, in a statement signed by Charles Akpan, the Deputy Director, Press and Public Relations in the ministry, said lack of jobs was responsible for the high rate of insecurity in the country.  

Akwa Ibom Dep Gov Denies Alleged Interest In Senatorial Seat.

The Akwa Ibom Deputy Governor, Mr Moses Ekpo, has said he will not contest for a senatorial seat in the National Assembly in the 2023 general elections.

The Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor, Mr. Ekikere Umoh, in a press statement in Uyo on Tuesday, said Mr. Moses is concerned about how to drive the completion agenda of Governor Udom Emmanuel and not on a senatorial ambition. 

Speculations had been rife in the state that the deputy governor has the intention to vie for the Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District ticket in 2023.
