Dr. Peter Obi, a candidate for the Labour Party's presidential nomination, took a shot at Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for winning the recently-concluded presidential election.
Together with Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Atiku Abubakar of the People's Democratic Party, Tinubu ran in the election.
Other applicants, who reportedly opposed and attacked Tinubu's selection process, claimed it was dishonest and faulty, according to reports.
In a separate press conference held by both parties, the candidates for president vowed to go to court to reclaim their mandate, claiming that INEC had compromised its standards and broken the 2022 electoral act amendment.
The former governor of Anambra state stated he would not congratulate the winner since the procedure that led to his victory was subpar during the news conference that Peter Obi arranged on Thursday.
"If you must be called your Excellency, the process of your emergence must be outstanding," Obi tweeted on Friday night, reiterating his viewpoint.
If you must be addressed as "Your Excellency," then the procedure by which you were appointed to your position must have been great, he wrote.
