Under the auspices of Arewa Youth Assembly [AYA], the Northern Youths have demanded the detention of Comrade Joe Ajaero, President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, on the grounds that the NLC leader is attempting to thwart Bola Ahmed Tinubu's inauguration. The NLC administration, led by Ajaero, is allegedly destroying state institutions purely in the name of the strike, according to a statement from the Arewa Youths movement.
The organization went on to say that it is regretful that the NLC's highest-ranking officials, who are from the South East, are from the same ethnic community for the first time ever. Prior to the legal dispute between Obi, Atiku, and Tinubu, the Northern camp stated that Comrade Ajaero was openly threatening the judges of the election petition tribunal. If you recall, The Labour Congress would start constructing a hall of shame for judges who issue ridiculous court decisions, according to the NLC President.
According to the statement, We expressed sadness over the fact that two members of the same ethnic group are holding the position of president for the first time in NLC history. both Imo State's Joe Ajaero and Abia's Emmanuel Ugboaja, the secretary general, spoke simultaneously.
We have alerted the security services via a petition to threats made by Ajaero to thwart Asiwaju Bola Tinubu's inauguration. Ajaero has gone so far as to damage state institutions under the guise of strikes, which is another key concern. He has threatened the judges overseeing the election petition tribunal.
