Juventus and Bayern Munich have reportedly reached an agreement for the transfer of Matthijs De Ligt this summer. The Italian club will allow the Dutch international to join Bayern Munich in a €80m deal plus add-ons.
Juventus failed to sign Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli this summer, as the player preferred a move to Chelsea instead of a direct rival to Napoli, a club which he holds dear. Chelsea are still in the transfer market for defenders to replace Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen who left on free transfers.
Chelsea are reportedly in direct talks with Paris St Germain for Presnel Kimpembe this summer and an opening bid of about €50m is expected in the coming days, despite PSG's €65m valuation of the player.
The Blues must step up their intrest in the France international, because Juventus are looking at the 26-years-old defender as a replacement for Matthijs De Ligt who is on his way to Bayern Munich. Juventus have a couple of names shortlisted as De Ligt replacement which includes Pau Torres, Presnel Kimpembe, Gabriel Magalhaes and Bremer all being considered by Juve after missing out on Koulibaly.
