According to reports, the Spanish model has asked for a divorce as a result of the footballer's alleged mistreatment.

Joana Sanz, the wife of Dani Alves, is said to have been asked to leave the footballer's flat after making it apparent that she is no longer interested in the former Barcelona defender.
The Brazilian international was taken into custody and held without bond after being accused of assaulting a woman in a Barcelona nightclub in December of last year.
After Alves reportedly admitted that he agreed to have sex with his accuser after initially denying knowing her, the Tenerife-born model reportedly filed for divorce.

Sport, a Spanish news outlet, stated that Sanz instructed her attorneys to start the divorce proceedings against Alves.
