Abuja Isn't Abia, Go To Abia & Play Politics Because All Politics Is Local - Adamu Tells APC Members

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Adamu, has urged members of his party to come together and work together as a team to ensure the victory of their party in the 2023 general elections. He said this after the inauguration of the 8-member Abia Reconciliation Committee.

He said that there is a lot of work for them to do, and that they have to put together their sentiments and stand together. He said that he doesn't want anyone to come to him after the elections crying and apportioning blame on anybody, and that if that happens, he will not listen to anybody.

In the report which was made by Daily Post, he said - "We are not going to hold reconciliation meetings again. We will now leave it to the leaders of the party in Abia to play their politics in the state. Abuja isn't about Abia, go to Abia and play politics there, do the necessary lobbying and reconciliation there because all politics is local."

The general elections will come up in February next year, and the ruling party, APC, has been working to ensure that it retains power next year. But they are facing threats from serious opposition parties like the Peoples Democratic Party and the Labour Party.
