Abdulahi Jari, One of the prominent person in Northern Nigeria took his verified Twitter to handle to announced the outcome of the meeting the Fulani group did yesterday.
He said the Fulani group have agreed to stop the herders from coming to Southern Nigeria to graze their cows, he also said about the readiness of the Northern to start sending their children to school.
This seems to be good news for the Southern farmers who have been accusing the herders of grazing on their farms.
A lot of people reacted to this news differently in which they show their happiness to the tweet, while some Northerners claim that they should stop selling cows to the South too.
@Fulani sáré said:
This is the way to go, but more has to be done because the common Fulani herder doesn't even know what miyetti-Allah is.
Sorry, we are not Northerners, we don't fight or terrorize ourselves in the South! The few that tried gets prosecuted not given 800m to encourage them.
