A welcome back event was recently organised for Bola Tinubu in Lagos by governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. The event was Tinubu's first outing since his return from the UK on Friday night, after a three month absence from the country.
It was attended by all elected office holders and political appointees in Lagos including Femi Gbajabiamilla. During the event, thee National leader of the All Progressive Congress, Bola Tinubu made mention of some notable things.

1. The first thing Bola Tinubu said is that what God expects from anyone he gives power to is that such a person uses the power for humanity.
2. Also, the former Lagos State governor noted that God is the only one who can take life since he is the giver of life. He said this while reacting to his death rumours.
3. Bola Tinubu noted that the welcome back event was an emotional one for him. According to him, all prayers showered on him are taken as valuable compliments.
Bola Tinubu is regarded by many as the frontline candidate for the 2023 presidential election. His safe return was a good news to his supporters and those who looked up to him.
