In a statement posted to Twitter, a legal practitioner, author, adjunct lecturer, arbitrator, and regulatory consultant who is also a member of the American Bar Association, Daniel Bwala, stated:
Some media aides believe that in order to establish their position, they must criticize clerics, ulamas, traditional leaders, previous presidents, etc. without realizing that their bosses would view them as mercenaries and unreliable agents who could turn on them on a bad day.
Daniel Bwala, who also works as their spokesperson, is a representative of the PDP's 2023 presidential candidate. He is one of Nigeria's leading political analysts at present and the National Assembly of Nigeria's (NASS) Special Adviser to the Deputy Senate President on Legal and Constitutional Matters.
