Sheik Gumi has been on the news in recent times, he has also been a topic of discussion on social media, this is because he compared activists like Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Igboho to the dreaded Boko Haram terrorist, Abubakar Shekau. Sheik Gumi also condemned those agitating for Biafra and the Oduduwa Republic. His comparison didn't sit well with a lot of Nigerians, one of these Nigerians is Reno Omokri. Reno Omokri is a popular Nigerian activist who is active on social media. He took to his Twitter page to reveal his thoughts based on Gumi's statement.
Reno Omokri stated that Biafra and the Oduduwa Republic existed before Nigeria, he also stated that God created the Yoruba and Igbo race but it was the British that forcefully created Nigeria. Reno Omokri further asked how Gumi can call Igboho a miscreant, he ended by saying Igboho is a defender of the defenceless.
