The presidential candidate of the People's Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, has announced that the Governor of Rivers State, Gov. Nyesom Wike, had deceived four of the aggrieved Governors into committing political suicide.
If you recall vividly the aggrieved G-5 Governors appealing for justice in the People's Democratic Party include; the governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, who is the leader, the governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu, the governor of Benue State, Gov. Samuel Ortom, the governor of Oyo state, Gov. Seyi Makinde and the governor of Enugu state, Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
Following that, the three G5 governors which includes, Okezie Ikpeazu, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and Samuel Ortom all lost their bids to go to the Senate during the February 25th election.
According to a statement made known by Atiku Abubakar Special Assistant on Public Communication, Mr. Phrank Shaibu, Atiku Abubakar said that betrayal, hypocrisy and deception were part of Gov. Wike’s DNA.
The statement also partly states, "As governor, he constantly underrated his fellow PDP members like Governor Ben Ayade, Dave Umahi and Godwin Obaseki. Even Peter Obi left due to the constant insults from Wike who battled with him over the structure of the PDP in Anambra State
