Bashir Ahmad, a media aide to President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to a recent statement made by the presiding pastor of the Omega Fire Ministry, Apostle Johnson Suleman. Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission conducted presidential and national assemblies elections last week and the results are currently being collated at the National Collation Centre, Abuja.
However, many people accused the electoral body of compromising the results in some states due to widespread violence and ballot box snatching that happened in those areas. Like many other Nigerians, Apostle Johnson Suleman deemed it fit to voice his opinion regarding the election. According to Suleman, the INEC should be on the ballot paper next election since its officials have started supporting some political parties by compromising the election results.
However, the statement by the man of God did not well with Bashir Ahmad considering the fact Apostle Suleman is a religious leader. He quoted that post made by Suleman and revealed that CAN too should be added to the ballot paper since some members of the association are supporting a political party too.
