Senator Shehu Sani, Former member of House of Assembly and human rights activist, criticised the All Progressive Congress (APC) to say that, as they preach tolerance, they should also practise tolerance.
The PDP chieftain, Shehu Sani made the statement in a tweet released on his official Twitter account a few minutes ago.
Following the backlash that came after Cardinal John Onaiyekan made a statement on Channels Television during the Sunrise Daily program that the president-elect, Bola Tinubu should not be sworn-in till the court presides and gives judgement to election petition because according to him it is void of sense to swear somebody in when the petition is still in court.
Many APC chieftains and APC supporters who may have watched the interview reacted on their social media handles and deeply criticised Cardinal John Onaiyekan's statement.
However, Senator Shehu Sani who may have been following the reactions and comments from the APC chieftains and supporters reacted on his Twitter account where he wrote.
"I thought it is only Peter Obi's supporters that harass people for their opinions until I'm reading such toxic comments against John Onaiyekan. Those who preach tolerance should practice tolerance."
