According to a recent report by Punch News, it was reported that Babajide Sanwo-OOlu the governor of Lagos State, shared his thoughts, vision, and practical ideas on governance at a three-dday induction for new and returning governors, which was held at the Presidential Banquet Hall, House State, Abuja.
Speaking further, the governor pointed out that the quality of development or evolution from one form to the next will determine the extent to which a new administration could hit the ground running, according to a statement signed by his chief secretary.
Additionally, he added that some incoming governors would be taking over from friendly predecessors and enjoying the development that would be easy, while others would have to contend with adversarial transition teams of the outgoing government.
Moreover, it is mandatory for us to be optimistic while also responding to the negatives with action.
"I here advise the incoming administration to set a governing agenda, just as I used the success and development of Lagos as an example of how agendas set by successful administrations could help governance.
