Here are fetal development that occurs this week

1 The baby's eyes

The major components of the eye that allow your baby to see begin to grow this week and are nearly fully formed a few weeks later.

2 Brain development

The neural tube that will become your baby's spinal column and brain has developed and closed, with your baby's brain at the top. It's currently divided into three sections forebrain, midbrain, and hindbrain. During pregnancy, your baby's brain grows at an incredible rate of 250,000 cells per minute on average.

3 Baby's digestive system

The stomach and esophagus of your kid begin to develop. The esophagus is a tube that connects your baby's mouth to his or her stomach. This week, your baby's liver and pancreas also begin to grow.

You may realize that meals you used to like have become utterly distasteful to you. This is because of the rising estrogen levels in the body. They usually begin in the first trimester and end in the second, however, it's possible that your appetite may remain off until your baby arrives.

2 Mood swings

Moodiness is common among pregnant women. This might be due to stress, tiredness, hormonal fluctuations, and the emotional rollercoaster that comes with being a parent.
