Healthy time medical experts advise women to give birth

According to Medicalnewstoday, it is generally recommended that women should have children before the age of 35. This is because fertility declines after age 35, and there is an increased risk of complications during pregnancy and childbirth. Here are some of the reasons why medical experts suggest women have children before age 35.

Fertility

As women age, the quality and quantity of their eggs decline, making it more difficult to conceive. By age 35, a woman's fertility begins to decline more rapidly, and by age 40, the chance of getting pregnant each month is less than 5%.

Pregnancy complications

Women who become pregnant after age 35 are at an increased risk of pregnancy complications, such as gestational diabetes, high blood pressure, and pre-eclampsia.

Birth defects

Babies born to mothers who are over 35 have an increased risk of genetic disorders like Down syndrome.

It's crucial to remember that every woman has a unique scenario, therefore choosing whether or not to have children should be based on those specific circumstances. For personal or professional reasons, some women may decide to put off having children, but with the right medical care, they can still have safe pregnancies and newborns.
