Raising Godly Children is the dream of every parents, however parenting is not as easy as it may seem to many, but with proper background knowledge on parenting; you can be the best parents to your kids.
Raising kids is one of the most challenging aspects of parenting. For if children are raised in a Godly way our society will enjoy peace and lasting progress.
Children are gifts from God, and therefore should be handled with utmost care, because God expects us to give an account of this gifts given to families across the globe at the end of our life here on earth.
Below are things you can improve your parenting skills so as to raise Godly Children.1. LEAD THEM TO GOD:
Lead your kids to God through Bible study and prayers, by constantly taking the leads in prayers, you can as well appoint them to read and share their own views about the word of God; when they must have come of age to do so.
By so doing, they will know what God expects from them and that can also help to instill the fear of God in them so as to grow into responsible adults.
2. TEACH THEM EMPATHY:
Empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings of others.
I have seen a situation where by some children get hurt during playing time or by accidents, and those children around them had sneered and mocked them for sustaining injuries without an Oita of remorse; even among siblings.
It's very important to teach your kids empathy so as to feel other peoples pains and discomfort, so that they can be charitable to others as well help them in times of emergencies when the need arises.
3. HAVE TIME FOR YOUR KIDS:
A lot of parents prefers making money to spending time with their kids, forgetting that they should balance both sides for better results.
Some parents go out to work, or businesses and return only when their kids must have gone to bed. They focus on making the money, while their children are busy with immoral activities and social Vice's.
It's good to make money, in order to take proper care of your kids, but have time to relate and get to know your kids.
when you neglect them for long, they become withdrawn from you and exhibits behaviors that you will be shocked to discover that they engage in such activities in your absence.
4. DO NOT ALWAYS LEAVE THEM IN THE CARE OF MAIDS:
The problem with our modern day parent is that, they have shifted their parental roles to the house girls, care givers and sometimes the security man at their gates.
Your primary role as a mother or father is to be the best parents to your kids, without an excuse. Most parents have become strangers to their kids, because the maids and care givers have taken their responsibilities.
I'm not of the opinion that you should not get a maid to help you With chores and the rest of them, but make sure to be the parent you are meant to be to your kids, so as to protect your kids from societal moral decadence.
