Pregnancy can come with few obstacles and concerns including tooth pain. While tooth discomfort during pregnancy may appear to be a minor issue it can be really severe causing extreme pain and discomfort.

Tooth ache during pregnancy may be caused by hormonal imbalances, your baby's calcium requirements, and other factors. However, if you get enough calcium, practice good tooth hygiene, and see your dentist on a regular basis, you'll be less likely to have dental problems during your pregnancy.

2 Hot compress

Hot compression may also aid in pain relief. You can soak a washcloth in warm water and apply it to the area of your face where your tooth is hurting.

3 Maintain good oral hygiene

One of the causes of dental problems during pregnancy is morning sickness. During pregnancy, gastric acid can cause dental cavities and toothaches if it gets into your mouth which is why maintaining a good oral hygiene is very important.
