For women who are pregnant or trying to get pregnant, safe food handling is even more important than usual. When in the kitchen, please be very careful and also avoid uncooked and over processed food.

 Lose Weight Before Conceiving

Obesity is a major health problem today. Obesity is linked with alot of chronic health issues like increased risk of heart disease, diabetes, and certain types of cancer, to pregnancy complications which causes miscarriages.

However, its important to have a good healthy diet that wouldn't lead to obesity because women who are obese have a much higher risk of losing their babies.
