Reasons why you may have grey hair at younger age

Grey hair at a young age is not a very common experience. It is something that is rare to happen but over the years, it has happened to a lot of people around the world.

Although grey hair is one of the common things that could happen to even younger people, only a few people know that it actually has a cause.

Well, if you didn't know that it had a cause before, in this article I will be talking about some of the major causes of grey hair at a young age.

According to healthline, these are some of the major causes:

1. Genetics

It is common for a child to follow in the same gene as his or her parents. Studies have found that the gene of a child really determines the type of development which the child might develop later in life.

Grey Hair has been found to be mostly caused as a result of the gene of the parent.

2. Stress

Although there are lower chances that the stress you go through might cause to develop grey hair, it is still one of the causes.

Studies believe that when you either go through sleep deprivation or other forms of serious stress that there are higher chances that, you will develop grey hair at a younger age.

3. Smoking

Smoking too much could also lead to grey hair. Generally smoking is bad for the body, so it plays a role in making you age faster and even die faster, this is why grey hair develop during your young ages.

4. Vitamin B12 deficiency

Vitamin B12 deficiency could also cause a person to develop grey hair at a younger age. It has been proven that vitamin B12 is an important nutrient for the hair, so it's deficiency could lead to a person developing grey hair.
