Today's Headlines: FG gives N30k Loan To Entrepreneurs, Fadaka Proposes Currency For Yoruba Nation

The Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment, the Bank of Industry has put in place a $1 billion syndicated loan to support Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

Not less than 300,000 entrepreneurs will get N30,000 loans from the scheme and about 100,000 will receive N50,000 from this scheme.

This was disclosed on Monday by Adeniyi Adebayo, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment who spoke on the subject matter in a submit held at the Quantum Mechanics Limited MSMEs Survival Fund capacity building programme in Abuja.

Fadaka Propses Currency For the Yoruba Nation

A faction of the Yoruba people led by political activist Sunday Igboho has called for yoruba's to support the movement of Building a "Yoruba Nation".

The group had on Sunday unveiled different denominations of the proposed currency on its Twitter page.
