Nirsal Microfinance Bank has made known to the public that they are not the same entity as NIRSAL PLC. This is following the wide spread news some days ago that CBN has suspended NIRSAL bank over fraudulent and dubious activities.
This was made known in a post by Nirsal Microfinance Bank official Facebook page, letting the public know that the suspension had nothing to do with them.
This is also a relief for loan applicants especially those that applied for the Covid19 loan and the AGSMEIS loan, as so many began to wonder where they could get help for their business.
Applicants and members of the public are therefore advised to disregard any message, stating that Nirsal Microfinance Bank has been suspended by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
They should continue to apply, for those that have been approved, they should await disbursements.
The Bank has also launched a new user friendly application portal for the AGSMEIS loan, so as to allow applicants navigate freely on the portal.
