Hello Opera News, Fans, Followers, Friends, Well-wishers and Readers. In this article I'll be taking on how the world rarest gorillas were captured in Cross River State Nigeria and also showing a few photos of them.

Photos of a group of Cross River rare gorillas and multiple babies Nigeria's MBE mountain we're taken by conservationists in the forest.

Over a 50 cameras were set up in the MBE mountain in 2012 to capture the Rivers State gorillas, but it was quite difficult to get a photo of the gorillas together. Meanwhile, since this time there had been no photos of infants in the forest.

An approximate number of 300 gorillas were only known to be alive at one point in the mountain, according to wildlife conservation society that captured the images in May and June.

Nine local communities have been working with the wildlife conservation society since the 1990s to keep, guide and help protect the Cross River gorillas.

The cross river gorillas have been threatened for decades mostly by hurting and also by lose of habitat as resident and cut down off forests to make way for agriculture.

Sixteen(16) eco-guard team have been recruited from surrounding communities to patrol and protect the gorillas and other wildlife, Dunn said.

Below are some pictures of the gorillas:
