Man's best friend" is a common phrase about domestic dogs, referring to their millennia-long history of close relations, loyalty, and companionship with humans.
They are man's best friends, and certainly, also man's loyal partner to achieving Guinness World Records.
The most balls caught by a dog with the paws in one minute is 14 and was achieved by Purin and her owner Makoto Kumagai (both Japan) in Sakura, Chiba, Japan, on 22 March 2015. Purin is a 9 year-old female beagle.
During the attempt, Purin was able to catch 14 mini footballs, higher that his previous record of 11. According to her very proud owner and trainer Makoto Kumagai from Japan, says that he and the skilled beagle practice every day for 15 minutes, with Kumagi throwing balls to Purin while she stands on her hind legs.
Purin is the dream goalkeeper. This superstar pup set the record by catching 14 balls in just 60 seconds swiftly putting our hand-eye (or in Purin’s case ‘paw-eye’) coordination skills to shame.
