The people you surround yourself with affects your life whether you admit it or not. If you really want to succeed in life, you should be wary of the people you spend time with. I have observed that these kinds of people are not people you should invest your time on, if you desperately want to make progress in life.
1. HYPOCRITES

Hypocrites are pure pretenders. They say 'A' in your presence and say 'B' in your absence. They are a terrible breed of people. What they say to you and what is in their hearts are totally different. They bite you from behind and come Infront pretending they care about you.
They may even profess to others that they care about you, but all is pure deceit. They can be more deadly than you ever imagined.
Once you realize that you are dealing with hypocrites, immediately take your stand. If you can, completely avoid such people. They are 'green Snake in green grass'.
2. ABUSERS

This set of people are the ones that abuse your time, skills, relationship, energy and resources. They always want to get things free of charge even when they can conveniently afford it.
They love to use tricks to get you do things that will cost you so much and at the end of the day, they act like they are actually the ones who did you a favour. They shortchange you at the slightest opportunity they get.
The moment you realize that you are dealing with an abuser, quickly retrace your steps because they will yet do it again and again. So, stop wasting your time with an abuser.
3. ENEMIES OF PROGRESS

There are people who can't even hide their hatred and bitterness towards you. The interesting thing is that you don't even need to offend them in any way to become their enemy. They can become your enemy simply because you are doing good works!
Some will literally show you or even tell you straight up how much they don't want your progress. In fact, consider yourself lucky when someone makes it clear to you that they hate your progress because it is better you know, than to be dealing with a hypocrite or a pretender.
Once you notice these kind of people around you, find a way to stop wasting time with them or hanging around them because no matter what good you do for them, they hardly change.
Above all, always ask God for wisdom in dealing with these set of deadly human beings.
