I am challenging the process not the result - Obi

The Labour Party Presidential candidate in the just concluded election has revealed in his interview on Arise TV on Monday that, he is not challenging the declaration of Bola Tinubu as the winner of the election but the process that led to the declaration.

“I'm not Challenging who they declare the winner, I'm not asking INEC to change their result, I'm only asking them to give us access to the documents, the process and material used to arrive at the result” 


CBN reacts to the alleged plot against Tinubu

Following a report in The Nation newspaper that CBN made a certain amount of money available to the gubernatorial candidate of the Labour Party in Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour to launch a fresh plot against Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The CBN Acting Director, of Corporate Communications, Isa Abdulmumin has released a statement to deny these allegations.

According to the statement, the CBN Governor does not participate in politics and does not know or interacted with Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour either by proxy it in person.

NBA asks Buhari to obey Court Order

The President of the Nigeria Bar Association released a statement this morning urging President Buhari to comply with the March 3 verdict on Naira notes by the Supreme Court. "The Supreme Court has spoken for the people of this nation and has appropriately issued orders to the Executive and the orders of the court must be complied with."

He concluded that the Executive should in no way disregard the ruling of the highest court in the land.


Fire razes shops in Kano

he Public Relations Officer of the Fire Service, Saminu Abdullahi has confirmed that Fire has razed some shops at Singer Market in Kano. The Kano State Fire Service received a distress call around 2 in the midnight about an ongoing fire at the market in Fagge Local Government Area of the state.

Abdullahi confirmed some shops were completely razed by the fire but the Fire Service is yet to find the reason behind the fire.
