The APC defected, denouncing their loyalty card, brooms, and banners in lieu of the PDP's canopy.
The defectors' spokesperson, Abila Sarkin-Yaki, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that they were unsatisfied with the APC's ideas.
As per him, the defectors he drew from the APC agreed to enter the PDP in order to contribute to the growth of the Kuje Area Council.
“Our membership in the APC has not been motivating, and the APC's policies and attitude have not promoted democracy and democratic accountability in the Kuje area council.”
Alhaji Mohammed Ismaila, the PDP Chairman of Kuje Area Council, who received the dissenters, said that more also were coming after them for the party's and the council's growth.
