The All Progressives Congress Campaign Council has accused the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, of taking advantage of the emotions of the Nigerian youth and riding on the wave of religiosity and ethnicity.

It said Obi would go down in history as the country’s most dangerous and divisive politician.

The Special Adviser on Media and Communication of the PCC, Dele Alake, stated this at a press conference in Abuja.

The president of war-ravaged Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has congratulated Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate over his victory in the just concluded election.

Zelenskyy, on his Twitter handle, noted that he was ready to work together with Tinubu to overcome the global challenges including threats to food security.

Buhari To Attend UN Conference In Qatar.

President Muhammadu Buhari is scheduled to depart Nigeria on Saturday for the 5th United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LCDs) in Doha, the capital city of Qatar, the Presidency says.

In a statement, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, noted that the official trip follows an invitation by the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

Naira Redesign Policy: Akeredolu Hails Supreme Court, Urges FG, CBN To Obey Ruling.

Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu has hailed the Supreme Court for nullifying the CBN naira redesign policy, praising the Justices of the Apex Court for their industry and courage.

In a press statement signed by the Governor reacting to the ruling, Governor Akeredolu flayed both the CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele and the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, for misadvising President Muhammadu Buhari to assume powers of an Emperor answerable only to himself and no other authorities as enshrined in the Constitution.
