Insecurity - the bane of the society - is now a concern for everyone, not only the masses are feeling the heat even the elites are beginning to have their own feel of it. For sometime now, bandits and northern gunmen have been on rampage, it has been from one negative act to the other, and there seem to be not stopping anytime soon.
On March 17, a tweet from the official Twitter account of the Sahara Reporters revealed that an undisclosed number of gunmen attacked the Emir of Bernin Gwari, Zubairu Maigwari II on his way to Kaduna.
The images from the attack shows that there were multiple gunshots, as the front mirror of the car was pierced through with different bullet holes. There is no report concerning the number of casualty yet.
The elites are also experiencing the same deal of insecutiry just like everyone else, this has been the cry of many Nigerians, and many are beginning to question the authenticity of the government.
Nigerians took to Twitter to comment on the news, there are various shades of responses and comments. A Twitter user with the user name Ajayi Sunday adeoye responded with this words "Nigeria is not even safe anymore. Fulani bandit everywhere", he is not far from the truth is he? No.
