To all the men of the Nigerian army out there, fighting for the peace and safety of the country in places where there are tumult and unrest, my prayer is that God will always protect all of you and make your efforts fruitful.

It's a sad day yesterday that some military men were allegedly ambushed and killed by bandits along Kaduna Birnin Gwari road yesterday.

Aircraftsman Abubakar Muhammed Ahmed from Kaduna state was identified to be part of the soldiers that lost their lives in the ambush and attack, the names of some of his colleagues who were gun down in the line of duty are still to be identified.

My condolence and heartfelt sympathy go to the families of the deceased, may the Almighty God grant them the fortitude to bear these losses.

For the officers who died yesterday in the ambush, my prayer is that their souls will rest in peace.

Nigerian should appreciate the sacrifices of men and women of the Nigerian army that put national interest and the safety of others before their welfare, we should pray for them and not always complain that they are not doing well or incompetent.
