As expected, the House of Representative has finally called on the Minister of Niger Delta, Senator Godswill Akpabio to appear and answer questions regarding the alleged embezzlement of funds in the NDDC.
recall that the House of Representatives had uncovered how a whopping N81.5 billion was mismanaged in the NDDC between February - May 2020.
The former Managing Director of the NDDC, Joy Nunieh had accused the Minister of fraud and both she and Godswill Akpabio have been engaging in war of words.
According to Sahara Reporters, this information was made available by the Chairman of the probing committee, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo immediately after Joy Nunieh testified before the committee today in Abuja.
The date he is to appear before the committee that is probing the alleged embezzlement of funds in the NDDC is next Monday which is 20th July, 2020.
We are expecting and anticipating to hear the outcome after he appears before the committee.
What do you think will happen? Will he be nailed or exonerated?
