I believe that the political gladiators in the state, are already making necessary calculations, and putting up strategies on who became the next governor once again.

Based on the political activities in the state currently, the two major contestants in the forthcoming election, are governor Akeredolu of the umbrella and Jegede of the broom party.

1. Olusegun Abraham:

This powerful politician is from Ikare AkokoHe local government area.

He is one of the pioneer members of the All Progressives Congress when it was still called Alliance for Democracy. and he also contested for the governorship position of the state under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, but lost out to Oluwarotimi Akeredolu at the primaries, since he is an old Don in the state politics, he has the capacity to mobilize his supporters to vote for Akeredolu.

3. Jimi Odimayo:

Jimi is an organizational building, and restructuring expert, he functions as the Managing Director and Chief Executive officer of Arowolo Group Limited.

He is from Irele local government in Ondo state.
