The members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB has raised alarm that Ohanaeze NdiIgbo and south east governors are presently compiling the names of its members and those of the ESN, as directed by the federal government of Nigeria.
According to the IPOB, the group made it known that the federal government and the south east leaders made the move, so as to weaken the ESN and make it difficult and impossible for the to flush the Fulani herdsmen out of the zone.
The IPOB group also made it known that since the ESN was formed, the ESN has made efforts to chase herdsmen away from the region, but political and local authorities have been sabotaging their efforts.
The secessionists group made this known by the group's Director of Media and publicity, Emma Powerful.
This is really a sad indeed. I really don't think that the way the federal government and south east Governors are going about this is a good one. I think the government should try and gave a dialogue with the IPOB so that peace will reign in the country.
