Chadian President, Deby, Visits Buhari, Reacts To The Change Of Military Service Chiefs.

The Chadian president, Idris Deby, has expressed his optimisms that the Multinational Joint Task Force operations will see the end of Boko Haram insurgents, according to BBC Hausa.

Mr Idris Deby made this known to newsmen immediately after meeting with Nigeria's president, president Muhammad Buhari in Abuja today, 27 March 2021.

Mr Idris Deby, former military officer, said the new tactics employed by the MNJTF, including changing the commanders from all levels, will help to achieve a great success against the Boko Haram insurgents.

Mr Deby was reported saying "considering the change of military service chiefs in Nigeria, and the change of commanders at the Multinational Joint Task Force, we can bring Boko Haram activities to an end".

He continued saying, "Boko Haram insurgents are receiving weapons and training from Libya around Lake Chad areas".

Mr Deby added that the MNJTF has recently recorded victories against the Boko Haram insurgents.
