The Nollywood actress, producer and director, Funke 'Jenifa' Akindele, who has openly declared her political aspiration running for the position of the Deputy Governor of Lagos State under a prominent political party in Nigeria, has released a video of her visit to an undisclosed market area in Lagos where she delivered her running mate's manifesto.

According to her, in the released video on her verified Instagram page on the 8th March 2023, Funke gave highlight of the things she and her candidate are willing to do for the state, mentioning that their administration is basically for the poor and not the rich.
Furthermore, An epistle was written where she urged all Lagosians to make the right decision by challenging the status quo and making a difference with their votes.
Finally, Funke Urged the people to be wise in decision making on who has the interest of the people at heart, voting for competence rather than emotions.
