It's very clear that the issue of insecurity in the country has been a very big challenge and so many Nigerians are living in panic due to rate of killings and kidnappings happening in the country.
Although the federal government has vowed to deal decisively with those carrying out criminal activities in the country and making Nigeria hellish for the citizens.
Following the rate of killings and kidnappings caused by bandits and other terrorist groups, President Mohammadu Buhari has given a new oder to military Operatives across the country.
On Wednesday 3rd of March, 2021 Punch Newspaper reported that Special assistant to the President on media and publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, has said president Mohammadu Buhari has given special order to military operatives to shoot non- security personnel armed with AK-47 Rifles.
Shehu released this statement in an interview with BBC Hausa Service on Wednesday.
He disclosed that president Mohammadu Buhari was determined to end the senseless killings in Zamfara and other parts of the country.
“The president has ordered security forces to go into the bushes and shoot whoever they see with sophisticated weapons like AK-47” Shehu said.
