Opinion: What Buhari May Not Tolerate From Igbos As Nnamdi Kanu's Court Trial Approaches

The trial of Nnamdi Kanu is fast approaching, and news about his trial has started dominating the major Nigerian news outlets. His court trial is scheduled to be held on Thursday, October 21st, 2021.

However, here is what Buhari may not tolerate from Igbos as Nnamdi Kanu's court trial approaches.

What will Buhari not tolerate?

President Buhari may not tolerate any form of violence or protest during his court trial.

Recall how Igbos wanted to travel to Abuja and protest in June before his trial was pushed to October 21. The president may not accept it this time.

Igbos should rather stick to the sit-at-home home order they fixed on Thursday, rather than coming to court to protest or cause violence.

In conclusion, Igbos should work with the government for a better Nigeria. Separation alone won't solve the problem at hand.
