Nigeria's First Lady, Aisha Buhari has been away for some time and she has not appeared in any public gathering or social media platform. It's about five months now that the first lady is away from the country after her travel to Dubai last year September. It was said that she left the country for a couple of months due to some health challenges she was facing, while some said she had relocated to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
For months now President Mohammadu Buhari has been going on a domestic visit on his own, without his wife. Even the last time he went to Daura for a one week break and also for an assignment he went without his wife. These have led to many complaints from Nigerians where is the First Lady of Nigeria. Even Suleiman Haruna who is the Director of Information, Office of the First Lady has refused to make any comment concerning her whereabouts.
- Amotekun Intercepts 80 Herdsmen With Bows, Arrows In Ibadan
The Southern Security Network famously known as Amotekun Operatives have stopped a truck filled with Fulani's herdsmen of about 80 of them along Iwo Road, Ibadan. According to Olayinka Olayanju who is the Commandant of the Oyo branch confirmed the truck and he said that the herdsmen confessed that they are moving to Lagos.
The Fulani's herdsmen were seen with bows, arrows, and daggers in their possession. The herdsmen were quickly taken to Agodi police station to get more information from them. After the interrogation of the herdsmen, the Oyo Police spokesperson said that herdsmen were coming from Kano and they were heading to Agege
- Army To Bring In Chadian, Cameroonian Soldiers To End Insurgency
According to the New Chief Of Army Staff, Ibrahim Attahiru he said that he will bring the service of the Chadian and Cameroonian troops to end the insurgency going on the country. It not fully months when he was assigned to the office and this has been his first move over terrorism in the country.
He made this statement while addressing the Nigerian troops at the Army Supercamp 1 Ngamdu, Yobe state yesterday. It was recalled that as of early January this year the Chadian troops overtook the Lake Chad area in the Northeast making the Nigerian troops withdraw from that area after their mission was completed.
