The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate during the just concluded February 25 presidential election, Atiku Abubakar, has reacted to the recent Supreme Court judgement dismissing the disqualification suit against President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President-elect Kashim Shettima.
Atiku claimed that the Court’s dismissal of the case was not a setback to his quest for justice, insisting that the President-elect was not qualified to contest the poll.
The former Vice President maintained that the 2023 election was fraudulent and did not comply with the constitutional requirements and the electoral guidelines of the Independent National Electoral Commission.

A State High Court sitting in Edo on Friday dismissed the notice of suspension issued against the embattled National Chairman of the Labour Party, Julius Abure, by some party members at the ward level.
The judge, Justice Emmanuel Aihamoje, on Friday, threw out the case for lacking merit.

A former chieftain of the Labour Party and governorship candidate in Oyo State, Tawfiq Akinwale has explained the reasons he terminated his party’s membership three days ago.
Akinwale who stated this during an interview session with SYMFONI which was monitored by SaharaReporters, described his former party, Labour Party as hopeless and directionless.
He added that the party which many Nigerians were seeing as the rescuing team contained a lot more irregularities than the two frontline parties, the All Progressive Congress(APC) and the People Democratic Party(PDP).
