The Former vice President and the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakr will need the support of some Prominent Governors of the APC to win the 2023 Presidential race. Atiku Abubakr was the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in the last Presidential Polls. Atiku was given the Presidential ticket to Contest against President Muhammadu Buhari in the last Presidential Polls.
Atiku Abubakr along with some Prominent leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party contested the Primary election against one another in the Party but Atiku won the Primary Election to Contest against the candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC Presidential candidate, President Muhammadu Buhari. It should be recalled that Atiku Abubakr won the last Presidential election in both southsouth and the southeast of the country but he couldn't win the election in the core norths which made to finally loose the Presidential Polls.
President Muhammadu Buhari won most largest States in the north. The states are Kano, Kaduna, Kastina and Borno states. Any Presidential candidate who wins all these States will definitely win the Presidential election. These are the States that determine the winning of any Presidential election due to their Population. They have large numbers of population in the country. The Power belong to these States mentioned above, when it comes to voting due to their large Population.
Since Atiku could not win those states and Lagos State in the Southwest, He was unable to defeat President Muhammadu Buhari in the Polls. However, Atiku Abubakr will need the attention and support of some Northern APC Governors ahead the 2023 Presidential Polls to win the race. Meanwhile, The Peoples Democratic Party PDP has made it known to the Public that the Party may Likely Pick Alhaji Atiku Abubakr or Senator Bukola Saraki as the Party Presidential candidate in the forthcoming Polls.
This implies that the Peoples Democratic Party PDP May pick Alhaji Atiku Abubakr as the Party Presidential flagbearer in the forthcoming Presidential Polls. If the Party should give Atiku, the Presidential ticket, it means Atiku needs to work outside his Party to the Presidential Polls. Atiku Abubakr needs to work with the Opposition Party ahead the 2023 Presidential Polls. Though, Atiku Abubakr is a very Popular Presidential candidate but nevertheless, he needs to work hard to realize his Presidential Ambition in 2023 Presidential Polls.
Top APC Governor, Atiku Needs Their Support To Realise His Presidential Ambition In 2023 Polls
The Former vice President and the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakr will need the support and attention of some All Progressives Congress APC Governors in nothern States to realize his Presidential Ambition in 2023 Presidential Polls. Atiku Abubakr will need the support of these Governors because of the Population of the People they controlled in their various states.
1. Governor Ganduje of Kano State
Atiku Abubakr will need the support of Governor Ganduje of Kano State to win the next Presidential race in the State. The Population of the Kano state is much and it goes along way to determine the faith of any Presidential candidate. Therefore, Atiku should try and reach out to Governor Ganduje. Though, it might not be easy for Atiku to win the heart of Governor Ganduje because of the cordial relationship, Ganduje has with Tinubu.
Both Tinubu and Atiku are very cordial. Apart From the fact that Tinubu and Governor Ganduje belong to the Same Party, Governor Ganduje is working seriously for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to realize his Presidential Ambition in the North. Therefore, If Atiku Abubakr would win Kano state and other neighborhing states in Kano, then Atiku needs to reach out to Governor Ganduje of Kano state.
2. Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State
Another APC Governor, Atiku needs to reach out to, in the north, is the Governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai. El-Rufai is very active in the North. Though, Nasir El-Rufai is not supporting Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for 2023 Presidential Polls. But Atiku needs to reach out to El-Rufai ahead the 2023 Presidential Polls to win the Presidential election. Atiku Abubakr may find it easy to reach Governor Nasir El-Rufai to win the Presidential Polls. Because he doesn't belong to Tinubu's camp.
The 2023 Presidential Ambition will be an easy ride for Atiku Abubakr. Atiku should reach out to both the Governor of Kano and Kaduna state ahead the 2023 Presidential Polls. Atiku Abubakr is not that Popular in the North, most especially in all the largest States in the north. But if he could get in touch to these Governors and win their hearts, Atiku will find the 2023 Presidential Polls very easy.
