Kanu, Igboho Should Be Dealt With- Shettima.

The Arewa Youth Consultative Forum, AYCF, has said those agitating for Nigeria’s disintegration should be decisively dealt with.

Yerima Shettima, National President of the AYCF, made the remark while backing President Muhammadu Buhari’s decision to deal with agitators like Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, and Sunday Igboho.

He described Kanu as a blind man who is leading IPOB into a death trap.

Wike Calls For Dialogue.

Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has proposed a national dialogue to address the many contentions in the polity. This was contained in an Independence Day statement signed by his spokesman Kelvi Ebiri on Friday.

Mr Wike demanded the requisite courage and commitment from leaders and every Nigerian to search and secure solutions to the challenges confronting the country.

In sitting down to rework Nigeria, Mr Wike insists the country must be based on justice and equity.
