The approval followed the earlier letter of request sent to the assembly by the Chief of Staff to the governor, Chief Olugbenga Ale.
The Honourable House members said the approval the approval would accelerate the machinery of government in order to ensure prompt delivery of dividend of democracy to the good people of Ondo State.
The members of House of Assembly opined that that the request was in line with the constitutional power of the governor.
Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu had earlier approved the appointment of Chief Olugbenga Ale and Mr Olabode Richard as the Chief of Staff and Chief Press Secretary respectively.
Mr Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu (SAN) was sworn in for the second term in office on Wednesday, 24 February, 2021. His second term tenure in office as second term governor of Ondo State is expected to end in 2025.
