Bukola Saraki Clocks 58 Years Today, See Pictures Of His Mother, Late Powerful Dad And His Lovely Family

Former Nigerian Senate President clocks 58 today and our hearty cheers goes to him. He is arguably one of the most powerful and intelligent senate president Nigeria has ever produced.

Olubukola Abubakar Saraki, MBBS, CON was born on December 19th, 1962 in London, United Kingdom to Olusola Saraki AKA "Baba Oloye" and Florence Morenike. He is a Nigerian politician who was the 13th president of the Nigerian Senate dated from 2015 to 2019, and Chair of the 8th Nigeria National Assembly.

Bukola Saraki is a prominent figure in Nigeria's politics just like his late dad. In 2018, he was dubbed by Dele Momodu as the Jack Bauer of Nigerian politics.

In 2011, Bukola Saraki retired his father, Olusola, from politics by backing Abdulfatah Ahmed against Gbemisola, his own younger sister, in the governorship race. Their father had been the godfather Kwara politics for decades and the popular saying was: “Anywhere Saraki goes, Kwara goes.” Olusola Saraki was to Kwara state what Bola Tinubu is to Lagos. The Saraki dynasties ruled Kwara state for decades all thanks to his powerful dad, Olusola.

For over 40 years, the late Dr Olusola Saraki AKA Baba Oloye and his children, controlled the political affairs of Kwara state. The family has through the years built for itself a political entity and an indestructible name that will forever ring a bell in the politics of Kwara State. His father Olusola, served as a Senator between 1979-1983 and died in 2012 after losing battle with cancer.

The former Nigerian Senate president took to his official Twitter handle @bukolasaraki months ago to wish his dearest mother a happy 85th birthday celebration.

Bukola Saraki tied the knot with the love of his life, Toyin Saraki AKA "nee Ojora" in 1991, and they are blessed with four children - Oluwaseni, Oluwatosin, Teniola and Teniayo (twins).

Bukola Saraki when counting politicians who would vy for presidency in 2023, would surely make the list. He is one of those politicians who knows the nooks and crannies of the country. I'm using this medium to send him three hearty cheers as he clocks 58 today. I wish you many happy returns Sir.

Kindly drop a hearty cheers to the former senate president, Bukola Saraki.
