The Senator representing the good people of Borno South Senatorial Zone, Senator Ali Ndume, has taken out this time to reply Oseni Rufai, after he demanded to know whether Senator Godswill Akpabio's record as the NDDC minister is good enough to make him senate president.
While responding to Rufai Oseni's question, Ali Ndume noted he wasn't there to speak on behalf of Godswill Akpabio regarding all the allegations leveled against him, stating it clearly that every politically exposed person including himself could be dragged by his opponents at any point in time.
Speaking further, Senator Ndume made it known that the corruption in the NDDC did not start during Akpabio's time, noting that the corruption has been there from the inception.
Senator Ali Ndume made this disclosure when he was interviewed on Arise Television's political programme, The Morning Show.
Furthermore, he made it known that allegations like this are very common in a country like Nigeria, noting that unless there is a conviction or clear evidence to prove these allegations, the individual remains innocent.
It should be recalled that Senator Ali Ndume is the leader of Senator Godswill Akpabio's Senate President Campaign team. Be it as it may, Nigerian are waiting to see how it will all end.
