President Muhammadu Buhari has made a call to all relevant stakeholders for the establishment of a complete database for all Nigerians.
According to him, having a national database will help the federal government to make critical decisions on education, health and agriculture sectors.
He added that the “Data also will guide government to come up with effective national policies with the issue women, children and unemployment,”
While calling on stakeholders to double their efforts in supporting the government, Buhari commended their efforts on the National Identification Number (NIN), noting that it has been able to capture millions within less than a year.
In addition, he said that keeping a database will help the country to recognize the gaps to be able to fix our challenges confronting the country.
