The Campaign Monitoring Sub-committe of the National Campaign Council for Edo State Governorship Election, of the All Progressive Congress, held a closed door meeting, on Thursday, to strategise on the forthcoming governorship election.
The meeting was moved to an undisclosed venue, after lasting for 45 minutes at the National Secretariat of the party.
The party flagbearer, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu and his running mate, Gani Audu, alongside the Chairman of the sub-committee and Imo Governor Senator Hope Uzodinma, the Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege and Professor Julius Ihonvibere were in attendance.
It was believed that the meeting was relocated to enable it meet with some stakeholders, inorder to get further strategies on how to recover the state from the People's Democratic Party(PDP).
Sources had that a crucial meeting of APC Governors on Thursday, will be held at an undisclosed venue to discuss the elections in Edo and Ondo States.
According to the source, all APC governors will be meeting tonight (Thursday) to strategise on how to record victory in the forthcoming elections in Edo and Ondo State. Because Edo election is crucial to the party.
