The traditional ruler of Mmaku Kingdom in Agwu Local Government Area of Enugu State, Igwe Maduabuchi Nevobasi has praised President Muhammadu Buhari for his giant strides in the South East region of Nigeria.

The well-respected monarch hailed the number one citizen of Nigeria for fighting for Nigeria's unity.

He made this known when he visited Presidential Media Adviser, Femi Adesina in his office in Abuja.

Femi Adesina, a Yoruba man from the South West region holds the traditional title of Nwanne di Namba(Brother from another mother) of Mmaku kingdom.

The traditional title was bestowed on him in January 2018 by the Ezeani II of Mmaku Kingdom, Igwe Cyprian Maduabuchi Nevobasi during his Ofala festival

3 key projects I noticed the traditional ruler of Mmaku kingdom of Enugu State listed as the achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari in the South-East region of Nigeria :

1. The monarch claimed that President Muhammadu Buhari has done many things for the Igbos in the South-East including Second River Niger Bridge which he claimed is "going on at a frenetic pace"

2. The traditional ruler also made mention of Enugu International Airport which he claimed now has a brand new runway which is now in use by the Airport Authority.

3. During his visit to the presidential aide who happens to be one of his chiefs, the monarch also cited the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway and the Onitsha-Enugu road as one of the achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari in the South East region.

I believe the Igbo monarch listing the achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari in South East will further prove to the Igbos that President Muhammadu Buhari is not neglecting the region.
